Our approach
We aim to make zengomaster usable with keyboard navigation, readable contrast, responsive layouts, and assistive technology. WCAG 2.2 Level AA guides our design; this is an ongoing accessibility commitment, not a claim of independently certified conformance.
Using the website
A skip link takes you to the main content. Navigation and controls have visible focus indicators. The site supports reduced-motion preferences and browser zoom. English and Japanese pages declare their language. Each intersection on the practice board has a coordinate and stone label. Focus the board, use arrow keys to move between intersections, and press Enter or Space to place a stone. Tab moves between the board and other controls. Move results are announced through a live status region.
Known limitations
The board is spatial, and a purely spoken view can require more effort. Area scoring does not adjudicate dead stones; complete captures before both players pass. Our external hosted checkout may have different accessibility behavior. We do not currently provide audio descriptions for every possible board pattern or professional assisted instruction.
Feedback and alternative help
If a barrier prevents you from playing, understanding billing, or canceling, email support@zengomaster.net. Include the page, browser or assistive technology if known, and what you were trying to do. We aim to acknowledge requests within two business days and offer a practical alternative, including billing support by email.
